Edison Academy is deeply honored to receive the “Union County Kids Dig In” grant

  • Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical Academy’s environmental club students were excited and deeply honored to receive the “Union County Kids Dig In” grant. Most exciting to students is that the produce will be utilized in the Culinary Arts and Baking programs in efforts for students to create new and exciting recipes.  To celebrate this occasion students were joined by Union County Freeholder, Sergio Granados, the Elizabeth Board of Education commissioners, President Stan Neron and Vice President Maria Carvalho, Groundworks Elizabeth and Environmental Club advisor, Mrs. Jain, to “lend a helping hand” in planting the first seeds of the season.
