Victor Mravlag School 21 is proud to have received the 2017 Union County Kids Dig In Grant sponsored by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders! This is an amazing opportunity for our students to learn hands-on about growing a vegetable garden, harvesting the crops, and giving back to the community. Freeholder Sergio Granados, Freeholder Angel Estrada and other county representatives along with our Board Commissioners Ms. Maria Z. Carvalho, and Ms. Stephanie Goncalves worked with our students to plant our school garden named STEMS FOR SUCCESS! Our school head gardeners , Ms. Erin Hahn and Ms. Melissa Bednar, will work with students to nurture and tend to our STEMS FOR SUCCESS garden. Victor Mravlag School No. 21 thanks all who helped this valuable grant become a reality for our school!
