School No. 52 Celebrates Autism Awareness with “Parachuting into Acceptance” Event
School No. 52 embraced the spirit of inclusivity and celebration during an uplifting afternoon of “Parachuting into Autism Awareness and Acceptance.” The event featured music and movement activities that not only encouraged teamwork and gross motor skill development, but also offered the children a joyful outlet for energy and emotions.
Adding to the excitement, Elizabeth Board of Education members: Diane Barbosa and Ileana Chevres, and Rafael Cortes, Assistant Superintendent for Schools joined the children and staff in the festivities, showing their support for awareness, acceptance, and unity.
