Abraham Lincoln School No. 14 Celebrates Reading Colors Our World Day with Guest Readers
What a colorful day we had at Abraham Lincoln School #14 as we celebrated “Reading Colors Our World” Day by wearing our favorite colors to show how reading makes our lives feel more vibrant and full of color, just like experiencing different colors in the real world. We also welcomed several incredible guest readers that included our district Chief Operations Officer and City of Elizabeth Councilman-At-Large Frank Cuesta, Elizabeth Board of Education Commissioner Stephanie Goncalves, Elizabeth Board of Education Commissioner Diane Barbosa, Elizabeth Board of Education Deputy Counsel Heather Savage-Ford, Guidance Supervisor Melanie Padilla, City of Elizabeth Councilman Carlos Torres, City of Elizabeth Councilman Nelson Gonzalez, and Elizabeth Fire Department Director Pat Byrnes. We thank our guests for visiting our school. Our students have learned so much from our many guest readers!
