The Children and Staff of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School No. 52 enjoyed an afternoon of Parachuting into Autism Awareness and Acceptance. Elizabeth Board of Education President Charlene Bathelus Dorgely, Vice President Stan Neron and Board Member Iliana Chevres joined in the fun activity.
This activity incorporated music and movement, which helps children develop teamwork skills, improves with gross motor skills, and can help children release energy and emotions. The afternoon was filled with excitement, energy and enthusiasm.
