Schools 1 and 9 celebrated Autism Acceptance Month by Hosting a walk around Jackson Park to highlight those impacted by Autism. Board Members Iliana Chevres and Jerry Jacobs were part of the attendance. The walk is an annual occurrence with efforts to embrace and support Autism within our schools and community. Students had classroom conversations surrounding Autism and created signs and posters to display support.
