Donald Stewart ECC School No. 51 American Education Week

Donald Stewart ECC School No. 51 provided the workshop titled ‘Reading is Knowledge, Knowledge is Power’for the parents during American Education Week.  On November 16^th, during the workshop staff members provided information on how to use reading as a tool to promote language development.  This workshop was provided in two different sessions, in English and Spanish and over 120 parents participated. Afterwards, the parents were invited to their child’s classroom to put into practice what they had learned.
