Miss New Jersey 2023, Ms. Victoria Mozitis, visited Terence C. Reilly School No. 7 during American Education Week to speak about her job responsibilities as Miss New Jersey, her platform called “LEAP”, women empowerment, and the importance of community service. Inspired by her love for both Literacy and the Arts, Miss New Jersey established LEAP: Literacy Enhancement, Artistry and Performance, a community service initiative dedicated to improving global literacy through advocating for Arts Education. She was greeted by 3^rd grade performing arts and visual arts students who were intrigued by her journey to becoming Miss New Jersey and her job responsibilities. While sharing her personal story, Miss New Jersey took the time to read a special book to our 3^rd Graders.
