Elizabeth Board of Education President Iliana Chevres and Board member Maria Carvalho visited the soccer and baseball athletic summer programs at Mattano Park on July 26, interacting with the participants and coaches. The programs are part of Elizabeth Public Schools' World of Summer Programs. The district also hosts youth athletic programs for basketball, baseball, softball, football, soccer, volleyball, track & field, cross country, cheerleading, wrestling, swimming, tennis, golf, and lacrosse.
