Elizabeth Board of Education President Iliana Chevres and Board member Jerry Jacobs visited the soccer youth athletic summer program at Todd Bowles Waterfront Sports Complex on July 24, interacting with the participants and coaches. The program, hosted by Elizabeth Public Schools as part of its World of Summer Programs, focuses on skills development and providing social-emotional benefits by teaching the fundamentals of soccer. The district also hosts youth athletic programs for basketball, baseball, softball, football, soccer, volleyball, track & field, cross country, cheerleading, wrestling, swimming, tennis, golf, and lacrosse.
