Elizabeth Board of Education Board President Iliana Chevres had the opportunity to visit Alexander Hamilton Preparatory Academy – Main campus on Monday, May 22, 2023. President Chevres visited classes where she spoke to teachers and students on school initiatives, best practices, and an open-door policy to address concerns or areas to enhance. Students had the opportunity to ask questions to the President Chevres on many issues. Each question was answered thoughtfully and with specifics examples. President Chevres emphasized the importance of working together and problem solving to enhance the district’s educational initiatives. President Chevres also visited Hamilton’s support staff secretaries, cafeteria workers, security guards and custodian and thank them for the great work they are doing. The theme emphasized during the visit was teamwork. Most importantly, working together to achieve excellence!
