Terence C. Reilly School No. 7 Presents "The Lion King Jr."

On Friday April 28, 2023, the performing arts afterschool program at Terence C. Reilly School 7 proudly presented their production of "The Lion King Jr." to both a schoolwide audience, and the community. The program consists of 70 students in grades 2nd- 8th that worked as a true ensemble to bring to life the story and characters we all know and love from this Disney classic.

We are so proud of our students who learned and sang in 7 different African Dialects, performed traditional African dances, and traditional African Drumming techniques. These aspects amazed us all and were the heartbeat of the show. Under the direction of the production staff and stage design team, TCR students were involved in every aspect of the production. From performing to set design, costuming and make up, lights, sound, and stage crew, our incredibly talented students were truly doing it all!

Throughout the rehearsal process, students not only got to tap into their creativity and hone their skills, they also learned the true meaning of collaboration and the importance of teamwork. Together, we were proud to make a little bit of Disney Magic come to the TCR stage! Hakuna Matata! ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿงก
