On April 20, 2023, Joseph Battin School No. 4 welcomed Board of Education President, Iliana Chevres for a school visit. Ms. Chevres toured the school, visiting all the classrooms, connecting with the students, teachers, and support staff. While visiting a physical education class, she participated in a golf lesson and was successful after one try. Ms. Chevres has been a part of the Joseph Battin School Community for several years, and as a token of our appreciation, she was given a painting by our art teacher Mrs. Downey.
