Melenie Dixon from the American Heart Association speaks to students at Hamilton Preparatory Academy. Alexander Hamilton's Health and Wellness Club has committed to a partnership with the American Heart Association. Mrs. Dixon and health and physical education teachers at Hamilton are introducing the program which is free and provides grant opportunities as well as scholarship opportunities to the students. Mrs. Dixon thanked the school for participating with The American Heart Association and for the $ 538.00 that was fundraised by students and staff at Alexander Hamilton. She indicated that more people are celebrating with their loved ones because of the difference schools make to help save and improve lives.
