The Elizabeth Speech and Debate Team competed at the NJSDL District Tournament. In order to qualify for Nationals, students compete against 25 schools and must place either 1st,2nd or 3rd. 

District Champion (1st place) in Informative Speaking, Joe Alves (12/FJC)

2nd place in Informative Speaking, Jane Teran (12/FJC)

Joe and Jane will be representing New Jersey in June in Arizona at the National tournament. 

Brian Rodriguez, was chosen by the NJ District Committee to win Assistant Coach of the Year!
