A salute to women, from young scholars to educational leaders was the theme of the welcoming committee at Nicholas S. La Corte School No. 3 Annex on March 23 for  Board President Iliana Chevres. Mrs. Chevres visited the 4^th grade bilingual class, 4^th and 5^th grade math classes, and a 4^th grade LAL class. Students at the annex had been focused on Women's History month activities and eagerly shared an article about Women and Equality with Mrs. Chevres. Madame Chevres was overjoyed to share her experiences as a female leader in education and how so many women play important roles within Elizabeth Public Schools and within the city.
