Dear Elizabeth Public Schools Learning Community

I am reaching out to you this afternoon with a heavy heart as we have lost a student of the Elizabeth Public Schools learning community. As you may be aware, a student who recently graduated from Winfield Scott School No. 2 passed away yesterday.

He certainly impacted the lives of those who knew him within the Winfield Scott School No. 2 community and his loss will be felt throughout the entire Elizabeth Public Schools community. Grief counseling has been made available at School No. 2 to support our students and team members who have been affected by this tragic event. We will continue to be at their side during this difficult time.

We offer our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends as they endure this tremendous loss. May God bless them and may they find peace during this difficult time.
