Winfield Scott School No 2 has a school-wide assembly every month to celebrate our Students of the Month. Our Elizabeth Board of Education President, Stan Neron, spoke to our students about the importance of their education, the decisions they make and offered words of encouragement.
John E. Dwyer Technology Academy Freshman Orientation
On Thursday, August 9, 2018, graduating seniors of J. Christian Bollwage Finance Academy, John E. Dwyer Technology Academy, Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical Academy, Admiral William F. Halsey, Jr. Health and Public Safety Academy, Alexander Hamilton Preparatory Academy, and Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy participated in our summer commencement ceremony at Dunn Sports Center. Among the speakers at the ceremony were City of Elizabeth Mayor J. Christian Bollwage; Elizabeth Board of Education President Maria Calvalho; Superintendent of Schools Olga Hugelmeyer; and keynote speaker, Ramone Paul, J.D. We would like to take the time to congratulate all our graduates and wish them success in all their future endeavors.
