  • First Ladies Pinning Ceremony

    The First Ladies of Jerome Dunn Academy School No. 9 was established in October of 2015. Ms. Jasmine Lee, Professional School Counselor at School No. 9, facilitates the program. The overall goal of the program is to increase self-efficacy by exploring identity based around five factors (ie: creative self, coping self, physical self, social self and essential self.)

  • EEA 15th Annual Poetry Festival

    The Elizabeth Education Association FAST committee held the 15th annual Poetry Festival on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. We had 182 poem entries from grades 2-High School. 69 finalists from 16 Elizabeth Public Schools were chosen to recite their poem in front of four judges and over 150 adults and children.

  • High School Teams Honored @ City Council Mtg

    The Admiral William F. Halsey, Jr. Health and Public Safety Academy Rifle Team and the Elizabeth Boys Varsity Soccer team were honored by Mayor J. Christian Bollwage and the members of Elizabeth City Council at the City Council meeting on April 9 at City Hall.
