  • First Ladies Pinning Ceremony

    The First Ladies of Jerome Dunn Academy School No. 9 was established in October of 2015. Ms. Jasmine Lee, Professional School Counselor at School No. 9, facilitates the program. The overall goal of the program is to increase self-efficacy by exploring identity based around five factors (ie: creative self, coping self, physical self, social self and essential self.)

    New Jersey State Troopers distributed approximately 630 coats to students of the Elizabeth Public Schools, during their 9th Annual Coat Drive on January 15 and 17.

  • Board of Education Meeting January 16, 2020

    At the January 16 Elizabeth Board of Education meeting at Dr. Orlando Edreira Academy School No. 26 @ 31, the meeting opened with School No. 26 eighth grade student Brielle Velez leading the Pledge of Allegiance, the Dr. Orlando Edreira Academy School No. 26 Jazz Ensemble led by Nicholas Ingeri performing the Star-Spangled Banner, and School No. 26 eighth grade student Adrianna Mejia leading the Pledge of Ethics.

  • Fall Athletics Awards Ceremony 2019

    Kudos to the entire EHS Athletic Dept. for facilitating the "Fall Awards Ceremony." The event recognized all the high school athletes from the fall season. Post season awards were announced, video montages for each team were displayed, underclassmen received certificates, and seniors received plaques. #GoEHS
