For the year 2020, the Bayway CAP has elected to offer High School Seniors who are residents of Linden, Elizabeth, Rahway, and Staten Island the opportunity to be awarded a municipality scholarship. Several scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded to students in these municipalities. This scholarship is open to candidates who will be pursuing a college education in the Industrial, Process Technology, or Engineering fields (i.e., Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Computer), supporting the Chemical & Refining Industries (non-medical).

John E. Dwyer Technology Academy has earned the College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science Principles. Schools honored with the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded young women’s access to AP computer science courses.
