EPS Honors & Celebrates the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Elizabeth Board of Education and Elizabeth Public Schools hosted student performances on January 11 at Donald Stewart Early Childhood Center School No. 51 to honor and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 

The performances included "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Speech", performed by 4th Grade Winfield Scott School No. 2 student Zaylen Mehki Britt, “Stand Up” by Cynthia Erivo, performed by students of Winfield Scott School No. 2, "He Had a Dream” by Quaver Music, performed by students of Winfield Scott School No. 2, “Just Fine” by Mary J. Blige, performed by students of Winfield Scott School No. 2, and “A Change is Going to Come” by Sam Cooke, performed by students of Mabel G. Holmes School No. 5.
