Dear Elizabeth Public Schools Families,

Elizabeth Public Schools continues to place the safety and well-being of all students and team members as its top priority.

The district has remained in consultation with the Chief Medical Inspector and the City of Elizabeth Health Officer while monitoring the available air quality data from the past 48 hours as well as the forecasted air quality for tomorrow, Friday, June 9.

Based on those conversations, the forecasted air quality, and the air quality pattern that has taken place over the past couple days, all schools will be on a half-day schedule tomorrow, Friday, June 9.

Schools will close for students and team members at 12:15 p.m.

We are recommending that students wear face coverings tomorrow as an added measure of precaution. There will be no outside recess.

Please be advised that afterschool programs and activities will be canceled Friday, June 9.
