  • Letter to Parents-Guardians- Second Marking Period Report Cards Available on PowerSchool- 2-16-21

    Starting on Wednesday, February 17 at 9:00 a.m., students and parents will be able to view K-12 report cards for the second marking period on the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

  • Letter to Class of 2021 Parents and Guardians- Graduation Requirements Update for Class of 2021

    The comprehensive curriculum that has been developed and adopted by the district, in tandem with the highly qualified teachers who deliver rigorous instruction, are vital components to meeting those goals. Additionally, Elizabeth Public Schools’ administration of state assessments, required by federal regulations, and college entrance exams, required by the district, are also essential to high school graduation.

  • Letter to EPS Learning Community - 1-25-21- Extension of Remote Learning to April 2021

    Our optimism is met with the great responsibility for reopening schools safely by exceeding minimum expectations to put health and safety first for all members of our learning community. Per the State of New Jersey website, the current positivity rate for Northern New Jersey is 13.0% and the New Jersey overall positivity rate is 13.6%. Given the current positivity rates and the anticipated trend of the positivity rate in relation to our metrics for the safe reopening of schools, remote instruction at Elizabeth Public Schools is being extended to April 12, 2021.

  • EBOE Swearing in Ceremony 1/6/21

    The Oath of Office was administered privately via video streaming technology to each of the three elected Elizabeth Board of Education members on Wednesday, January 6. Rosa E. Moreno-Ortega was sworn in by City of Elizabeth 2nd Ward Councilman Nelson Gonzalez, Jerry Jacobs was sworn in by New Jersey 20th District Assemblyman Jamel C. Holley, and Maria Z. Carvalho was sworn in by the Honorable Jubilo L. Afonso, Esq. Moreno-Ortega and Jacobs will each be serving their second terms on the Board while Carvalho will be serving her third term.
