5-20-22 Letter to School 4 families- Relocation of Students Due to Required Building Repairs

On behalf of the entire staff here at Joseph Battin School No. 4, it is with great anticipation and an overwhelming sense of excitement that we welcome all of our families back to our new locations beginning on Monday, May 23! We want you to know that we have been working diligently to reopen our school at the three locations.

In order to help facilitate both a smooth and orderly mode of transition during the times of arrival and dismissal, please adhere to the following safety procedures:

  Benedictine Academy located at 840 North Broad Street

• All students being dropped off to Benedictine Academy will enter and dismiss through the main entrance.
• Please note that parents will not be able to access the circular driveway as that will be utilized by our school buses.
• All students being dropped off by bus will enter through the main entrance located on 840 North Broad Street.
• Doors will open at 8:20 m. 

  JVJ Stem Academy located at 237 South Broad Street

• All students attending the JVJ Stem Academy will enter and dismiss through the South Street entrance. Doorswill open at 8:20 m.

  Dr. Albert Einstein Academy School No. 29 located at 919 North Broad Street

• All students being dropped off to School No. 29 will enter and dismiss through the playground side entrance.
• All students being dropped off by bus will enter through the main entrance located on 919 North Broad Street.
• In addition, please do not block the school driveway; the driveway in front of the building is designated for buses only.
• Doors will open at 8:20 m.

We would like to bring to the attention of our parents that all three schools are located on main streets. Therefore, whendropping off or picking-up your child, please do not double park in front of the building. Student safety is among ourtop priority, and we hope to make the morning and afternoon transitions as orderly as possible.

Transportation services are being offered to all students attending Benedictine Academy and Dr. Albert Einstein Academy School No. 29 and Special Education self-contained classrooms located at JVJ Stem Academy. Parents will be receiving a robo-call, text message and email communication to confirm the pick-up and drop off locations and times. In addition, our Transportation Department will be making a personal phone call to all parents.
