Sunday, October 31st the Elizabeth High School Marching Band won the inaugural 2021 NJMBDA Class AAA State Championships!!!

On October 31st the Elizabeth band traveled to The College of New Jersey in Ewing and competed against 9 other bands from all around the state in their division. (Class AAA 70-99 Members) Elizabeth's 2021 program entitled "What We Love" was victorious with a final score of 93.7, beating out bands such as West Orange, Verona, Edison, and Ridge. In addition, the band won a special award for Best Overall Music. The band's musical selections featured music by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, as well as music by Lady Gaga and Sting. 

We are extremely proud of the following Elizabeth Music Teachers and Administration who were so dedicated and did such a wonderful job teaching the marching band this past season:

This is a monumental feat for these students, especially after having remote instruction for almost all of the 2020 school year!
