State of New Jersey First Lady Tammy Snyder Murphy and New Jersey Health Commissioner Judy Persichilli visited the Thomas G. Dunn Sports Center on Wednesday, March 3. The Dunn Sports Center, through an agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), has been converted for use as a COVID‐19 Community Vaccination Center. Joining the First Lady and health commissioner in touring the facility were New Jersey Senator Joseph Cryan, Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, Assemblyman Jamel Holley, City of Elizabeth Mayor J. Christian Bollwage, representatives of FEMA and New Jersey’s Office of Emergency Management Incident Management Team, and Elizabeth Public Schools Superintendent Olga Hugelmeyer. Local residents and district employees were lining up to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations. Among those to receive their vaccination at the site during the tour was Elizabeth Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Judy Finch-Johnson.
