Dear Elizabeth Public Schools Families,

On behalf of all Elizabeth Public Schools team members, welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! It is always an exciting time to welcome back our students, families, and team members to our schools to kick off the new year and the last couple years have shown just how special of an occasion the return to teaching and learning is.

During the past 12 months, we were able to restore many of the excellent programs and initiatives that we have been accustomed to offering in the past to provide our students with impactful and memorable academic, athletic, and artistic experiences both inside and outside of the classroom.

Elizabeth Public Schools has become accustomed to being the home of schools and students that are recognized at the local, state, regional, and national levels. Our district has continued to host distinguished academic programs, championship athletic teams, and award-winning performance groups. We are looking forward to building upon those successes during the 2022-2023 school year.

We will continue to provide an innovative and personalized learning environment to ensure every child achieves excellence through highly qualified and dedicated teachers with the assistance of our administrative and support team members. I also strongly encourage you to participate in your child’s education in any way that you can and please feel free to share any questions or concerns with your child’s teachers, principals, district leaders, and me.

The school activities in which our students participate outside of the classroom, led by our parent/teacher organizations, combined with the positive reinforcement they receive from their families are crucial and significantly enhance their overall educational experience and success.

As a reminder, various welcome back information specific to your child’s school can be found on our new district website at

We look forward to working with you this school year as we prepare your children for college, career, and life success. Best wishes for a rewarding 2022-2023 school year and we will see you on September 9!
