Enjoy the Elizabeth Public Schools Collaborative District Virtual Choir!

 

The Elizabeth Public Schools Collaborative District Virtual Choir was production several months in the making, featuring students and teachers from Toussaint L’Ouverture – Marquis de Lafayette School No. 6, Terence C. Reilly School No. 7, Abraham Lincoln School No. 14, Madison – Monroe School No. 16, Victor Mravlag School No. 21, William F. Halloran School No. 22, Dr. Orlando Edreira Academy School No. 26, Dr. Albert Einstein Academy School No. 29, Chessie Dentley Roberts Academy School No. 30, Elizabeth High School – Frank J. Cicarell Academy, and Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy. The idea of the project was to showcase the talent of students and teachers across the district.

At the end of February, participants submitted audio or video recordings of their performances. Students from all grades were included, with over 140 total submitted performances ranging from third grade through high school. Teachers received the guide tracks, which they shared with their students and assisted them through the recording process. By the end of April, all performances were submitted and production, including balancing the audio mix and creating the visuals of the video project, took place in May.
