Elizabeth Public Schools celebrated the Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical Academy graduating Class of 2025 commencement and class awards ceremony at the Thomas G. Dunn Sports Center on June 25. Among the speakers at the ceremony were Elizabeth Board of Education President Stanley J. Neron, EPS Superintendent Dr. Olga Hugelmeyer, EPS Assistant Superintendent Rafael A. Cortes, Jr., Edison Career and Technical Academy Principal Danny Ortiz, Edison Career and Technical Academy Vice Principal Dr. Justine McConkey, Edison Career and Technical Academy Cosmetology Teacher Penelope Hudeen, Edison Career and Technical Academy class valedictorian Bianca Lisbeth Torres, Edison Career and Technical Academy class salutatorian Kelly Reyes, and Edison Career and Technical Academy Student Representative to the EBOE Jasmeli Cruz.
