Elizabeth Public Schools celebrated the Admiral William F. Halsey, Jr. Health and Public Safety Academy graduating Class of 2025 commencement and class awards ceremony at the Thomas G. Dunn Sports Center on June 24. Among the speakers at the ceremony were Elizabeth Mayor J. Christian Bollwage, Elizabeth Board of Education President Stanley J. Neron, Elizabeth Board of Education member Iliana Chevres, EPS Superintendent Dr. Olga Hugelmeyer, EPS Assistant Superintendent Rafael A. Cortes, Jr., Halsey Health and Public Safety Academy Principal Christopher VanVliet, Halsey Health and Public Safety Academy class valedictorian Reedchard Martinez, Halsey Health and Public Safety Academy class salutatorian Erica Maria Rodriguez Meneses, and Halsey Health and Public Safety Academy Student Representative to the EBOE Christ Julien Oltario Villard.
