Elizabeth Public Schools celebrated the Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson (JVJ) STEM Academy graduating Class of 2025 commencement and class awards ceremony at the Thomas G. Dunn Sports Center on June 24. Among the speakers at the ceremony were Elizabeth Mayor J. Christian Bollwage, Elizabeth Board of Education President Stanley J. Neron,  EPS Superintendent Dr. Olga Hugelmeyer, EPS Assistant Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Cedeño, JVJ STEM Academy Principal Theodore Panagopoulos, JVJ STEM Academy Teacher of the Year Grace Serralheiro, JVJ STEM Academy senior class advisor and Physical Education and Health Teacher Amber M. Rich, JVJ STEM Academy class valedictorian Michael M. Fernandes, JVJ STEM Academy class salutatorian Ezekiel Xavier Cedeno-Recarte, and JVJ STEM Academy Student Representative to the EBOE Jeissy D. Chevez.
