Arts Mural Unveiling @ J. Christian Bollwage Finance Academy
On Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, scholars from J. Christian Bollwage Finance Academy Class of 2026, along with representatives from the Nikhil Badlani Foundation, the Elizabeth Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau, and Mayor J. Christian Bollwage, participated in the unveiling of a driver safety art mural. This mural was created by students as part of a "Drivers Education Through the Arts" program. The project included presentations focused on student traffic safety and a safety audit that provided practical suggestions for raising awareness among their peers and the community about driving and pedestrian safety. Artist Cindy Klein assisted the students in combining their artwork and designs into the glass mural, which now hangs in the hallways of the J. Christian Bollwage Finance Academy Scholars. In recognition of their efforts and commitment to this youth empowerment initiative, the students also received a plaque honoring their work. The campaign was titled "Be Alert, Be Safe, and Be Smart" by the Class of 2026.
