Cyberbullying and Internet Safety Presentation

Dr. Albert Einstein School No. 29, in collaboration with The Union County Prosecutor’s Office and Counseling Department, sponsored an assembly for all students in grades 5-8 regarding Cyberbullying and Internet Safety. The event kicked off when students were addressed the by Mayor of Elizabeth, J. Christian Bollwage. Mayor Bollwage focused the discussion on anti-bullying awareness and the importance of being a good leader. In addition, Acting Prosecutor for Union County, Lyndsay Ruotolo, alongside Detective Green and Detective Rios presented to the students the effects of cyberbullying and the importance of internet safety. Both Detective Green and Detective Rios presented again for the parents of Dr. Albert Einstein Academy at an evening assembly, with the same focus.
