High School Freshmen Information Sessions
March 3rd Jefferson Academy Information Session @ 7pm
The Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy is committed to inspiring all students to achieve academic and creative excellence. Students complete a rigorous college preparatory curriculum as well as in-depth study in the visual, performing, and media arts. Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered beginning in ninth grade and students use a school-issued laptop for daily instruction

Students enrolled in the STEM Academy, in addition to completing a rigorous college preparatory program, will also be given the opportunity to explore careers in areas such as computer science, biomedical sciences, pharmacy and engineering. The school program will also guide the participating students in pioneering the ways and means by which to integrate STEM principles (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)into the world we live in. Honors and AP classes will be offered to all interested students. All STEM Academy students will be expected to comply with the rules, regulations, and policies of the Academy and the school district. |
