  • EPS Celebrates the Mid-Atlantic Region Champion Elmora Troopers

    Elizabeth Public Schools joined the City of Elizabeth and thousands of city residents in celebrating the Mid-Atlantic Region Champion Elmora Troopers little league team as they travelled through Elizabeth in a parade on September 6 celebrating their historic achievement of reaching the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

  • 7th Annual Hunger Doesn't Take a Vacation

    Today members of the Boys Soccer Team attended Asw Quijano’s Seventh Annual Hunger Doesn’t Take a Vacation sandwich project. Student athletes and coach contributed to the cause in helping prepare 1,300 sandwiches. It was a great opportunity for our student athletes to give back to our community especially those in need.

  • Schools In!!! Mid Summer Kickoff

    Schools #6, #16, #18, district supervisors, and our technology department collaborated to assist students learning during the summer months. Studies show a considerable amount of learning is lost in what many refer to as the summer slide, school staff provided information and resources for parents and students to help make gains during the summer months.

Halsey, Jr. Health and Public Safety Academy, Alexander Hamilton Preparatory Academy, and Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy participated in commencement exercises on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Williams Field in Elizabeth.

    Approximately 2,000 students from throughout Elizabeth Public Schools attended morning and afternoon Law Enforcement Against Drugs (L.E.A.D.) Class of 2019 graduation ceremonies at the Thomas G. Dunn Sports Center on June 18.

  • Meet the Coach Fall Athletics

    The EHS Athletic Department held its “Meet the Coach” event for fall sports at the Dunn Sports Center on Thursday. Parents were able to get information on physicals, practice, busing and other details regarding fall sports. The event was facilitated by Marthelly Luc, the Supervisor of Athletics. Coaches and the Athletic Department staff were on hand to meet with parents and discuss their individual sports.

    At the June 13 Elizabeth Board of Education meeting at Donald Stewart Early Childhood Center School No. 51, the meeting opened with a video highlighting the latest stops of Board President Stephanie Goncalves’ You’re One of a Kind Tour as she goes to visit each school in the district to meet students and team members and see the educational activities taking place.
