Elizabeth High School - Frank J. Cicarell Academy 2026 Commencement/Class Awards Ceremony

Elizabeth Public Schools celebrated the Elizabeth High School - Frank J. Cicarell Academy graduating Class of 2026 commencement and class awards ceremony at the Thomas G. Dunn Sports Center on June 25. Among the speakers at the ceremony were Elizabeth Mayor J. Christian Bollwage, Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, Elizabeth Board of Education President Maria Z. Carvalho, Elizabeth Board of Education Member Jerry D. Jacobs, EPS Superintendent Dr. Olga Hugelmeyer, EPS Assistant Superintendent Rafael A. Cortes, Jr., EHS-FJC Principal Michael Cummings, EHS-FJC AP Language and Composition Teacher Jennifer Nieves, EHS-FJC School Counselor Erica Forbes, EHS-FJC Senior Class Advisor Michelle Nam, EHS-FJC School Counselor Rosaria Scaff, EHS-FJC class valedictorian Carlos J. Sorto, EHS-FJC class salutatorian Anthony Alejandro Jimenez, and EHS-FJC Student Representative to the EBOE Douglas Matute.  

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by EHS-FJC senior Hector Paz, the Star-Spangled Banner was performed by EHS-FJC senior Ariel Eliseo Benitez, and the Pledge of Ethics was led by EHS-FJC senior Larissa Pereira.
