Student Responsibilities
- - Only eligible students are allowed to ride the bus; students must ride the assigned bus according to the driver's roster sheet.
- - Provide a 10-15 minute window before and after your stop time to accommodate unforeseen delays.
- - Wait for the bus in a safe location, avoiding playing or standing in the road, and respecting the property at your stop.
- - Approach the bus only after it has come to a complete stop, the door is opened, and follow specific crossing instructions if necessary.
- - Board the bus in an orderly fashion, fasten your seatbelt, and remain seated with head and arms inside while keeping aisles clear.
- - Maintain a quiet environment for safe driving conditions.
- - Obey the bus driver's instructions, including seat assignments and behavior guidelines.
- - Maintain classroom-like behavior, refrain from vandalism, and keep hands to yourself.
- - No smoking, gum, food, or drinks are allowed on the bus.
- - Oversized objects such as musical instruments or sports equipment are not permitted.
- - Be punctual; the bus won't reopen its door once it starts moving.
- - Note that buses may have video surveillance for passenger safety.
- - Never attempt to retrieve items dropped underneath the bus.
