- Children born on or before October 1, 2022 are eligible to begin school now.
Program Placement (No Exceptions):
- Pre-K 3: Children born between October 2, 2021 – October 1, 2022
- Pre-K 4: Children born between October 2, 2020 – October 1, 2021
2026–2027 School Year: Pre-K 3 Registration

Registration is now open for the 2026–2027 Pre-K 3 program, beginning in September 2026.
Eligibility (No Exceptions):
- Children must be born between October 2, 2022 – October 1, 2023

Registration — Required Documents for all Grades (Pre-K through 12) The child’s birth certificate, his/her immunization records, physical examination (within one year), if new to the United States of America, tuberculosis (TB) testing is required, and proof of residency as listed below. Please provide one of the following to meet your five-point requirement:

To register in grades from Kindergarten to 8th Grade, we invite you to visit us in person:

*The following documents MUST be provided at the time of your registration appointment.
- Copy of most recent Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Birth certificate
- Immunization record
- Universal Health Record filled out by your child's pediatrician found under https://www.state.nj.us/health/forms/ch-14.pdf.
- Parent/Guardian photo ID
- Lease/notarized letter from landlord or property tax bill (if owner)
- At least two Proof of City of Elizabeth residency: utility bills (gas, electric, water) telephone/cell phone bill, insurance bill, medical bill, cable bill.
