ESEA Military Opt-Out Form
The ESEA Military Opt-Out Form allows parents or guardians to prevent schools from sharing their child’s contact information with military recruiters. Under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, schools must provide student information to the military unless a parent or student formally opts out. Submitting this form ensures the student’s information remains private.

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a multiple-choice test that measures a student’s strengths and skills in areas like math, reading, and science. It’s used to help students explore career options and, if they choose, can also be used to qualify for military service

Military Colleges
According to Today’s Military, senior military colleges (SMCs) provide students with both academic education and structured military training, much like service academies. These institutions are recognized worldwide for their prestige and tradition, and they offer financial aid opportunities for eligible students. All SMC cadets must take part in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program; however, only those who receive an ROTC scholarship are obligated to serve in the military after graduation.
