Multiply Disabled (MD) Program
The Multiple Disabilities Program serves students who have more than one disability and may experience challenges in areas such as academics, communication, physical health, and cognitive development. Because these students often have complex needs, instruction is highly individualized and provided in small classes with a low student-to-teacher ratio. Assistive technology may be used to support communication and learning. In addition to academic instruction, the program emphasizes functional life skills such as dressing, feeding, toileting, and social interaction, helping students build independence and confidence in daily living.
